The following awards were presented at EBSC’s annual Christmas Party on December 11, 2010.
EBSC 2010 Frog and Frogette
Rick Bivins was voted Frog of the year by Eno Beach Shag Club, as a result of his dedication to and
hard work for EBSC throughout the year. As President, of EBSC for 2010, he showed a passion and commitment in helping
to make several changes that has and will benefit the club in many ways.
Cindy Atkins was voted Frogette of the year by Eno Beach Shag Club for her outstanding work as Chair of the Float Committee. EBSC was entered into the Spring SOS Safari Parade on April 24th with the theme being Hippy Hoppy Sweet 16 - Shagadelic. Eno Beach won third place in the category of "Best Shag Theme". However, we all know with the hard work and dedication Cindy and the committee put forth with this event, plus all the fun EBSC had ---- Eno Beach Shag Club came in first place! "Yeah Baby!"
Both members are very dedicated to Eno Beach and all their hard work is greatly appreciated by the club.

Jerry Burrage was inducted into The Shaggers Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 11, 2008. We’re so proud of Jerry receiving this honor and he’s also an honorable member of Eno Beach Shag Club.

Shaggers Hall of Fame Inductees Named

The 2008 Shaggers Hall of Fame Induction was held on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 9 p.m. at the Ocean Drive Beach & Golf Resort in North Myrtle Beach.
The Shaggers Hall of Fame has had approximately 200 inductees since 1983. Each year there are four female and four male inductees. The qualifications are: be a good dancer, support of the shag dance, love of the dance, support of the Hall of Fame by participating in Shag Attack and other Shag events and is nominated and will have turned 50 by the time of their induction. Each inductee’s photo and bio will be framed and displayed at the OD Resort in North Myrtle Beach.
The 2008 Female inductees are: Carol Leckie-North Myrtle Beach; Shelia McGarity - Charlotte, NC; Cindy Simmons – Myrtle Beach; and Linda Walker – Charleston.
The 2008 Male Inductees are Jerry Burrrage – North Myrtle Beach; Bobby Griffin -Beulaville, NC;Jet Jackson – Winston Salem, N.C.; Ham McGarity – Charlotte, NC.
The Charlie Boone Memorial Inductees are Bill and Sharli Drew of North Myrtle Beach.
The 2008 Keepers Of The Dance were also inducted following the Shaggers Hall of Fame Induction on Saturday, Oct. 11. The 2008 Inductees are Trae Anderson of North Myrtle Beach and Leann Best Norris of Cayce, N.C.
The Hall of Fame Officers are Chick Hedrick, CEO: Sam McIntosh, President; and Wanda Holliday Yow, Secretary.
Keepers of the Dance Committee Chairman is Bob Myrick.
Congratulations to Gene and Nancy Pope

Congratulations to Gene and Nancy Pope for their First Place win in the Masters Division at the Grand National Dance Championship in Atlanta.
Also, the synchronized couples dance team that Gene participated in (Shagalistics - VA, NC and SC) won First Place.
Let’s all make sure to congratulate Gene and Nancy on their great accomplishments.
