Letter From The President

I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. It has been an active month for your club with the Dance Contest, planning the S.O.S Coalition Party, Tee shirt sales, and several ticket sales etc. I must say that many of you have reached deep into your pockets and given much of your time to get these things done. I continue to be impressed by the membership of our club. This is yet another example of what we can achieve as we work together.
I would like to take a moment to thank all of those who worked to put on such a great dance contest. This was the 17th year and I believe it was the best one yet. I have spoken to several contestants and they agree it was the most fun and best-run contest they have been involved with to date. We were honored to have so many dancers who demonstrated such a quality level of shag. Our club has a long-standing tradition of supporting this dance, sharing it with others and making guests feel welcome to Eno Beach.
S.O.S. is just around the corner and your club has an inaugural party planned for our members as well as the other five clubs in our coalition. This party, on Fun Sunday, will give us a chance to share good times with old friends, as well as meet and greet new folks and make new friends. We plan to repeat this event for years to come. Please come and join us for the first Coalition party and be a part of the history we are about to write in the sand at Ocean Drive (North Myrtle Beach). I am so proud to be part of a club that is growing every month, served by a outstanding board, and made of members that are just good people. We are now 146 members strong looking forward to a bright future. As always, THANK YOU for your continued support.
